Revelations, Amplification: Why these episodes scare me?

In the Revelations episode, I see Reid being held captured by a Sadist (the guy is also a raving psychotic) and being tortured to the point of death. This episode scared me half to death because Reid can't die. He's a big part of the team and where would they even be without him. None of them could get through a profile without the genius.In the Amplification episode, the whole town is suffering and dying from a dangerous biofilter chemical and Reid gets caught in it as well. It made me cry to see Reid suffer in that room where the chemical is taking its time on him until the authorities can figure out how they can get him to the hospital safely and hopefully save him. This episode put me on the edge of my seat and it also made me cry really hard. I don't think anybody would watch the show if Spencer Reid was no longer around would they? I don't know if I could because Spencer Reid is my favorite character in the entire cast and I wouldn't want him to die. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
