Ugh reading who the guest stars are, I see Strauss is back.... I only hope she's not back to cause trouble. I wonder if it's because of Hotch's behavior since he's been back? Maybe someone noticed? That would be a bummer..... hopefully she doesn't force him to take time "off." Or put Rossi in charge, although he is capable...Hotch is the leader. Grrrr

Really looks bad, she's back on for at least the next 2 episodes..... who knows how much longer. Wondering of Hotch will go "rogue" and find The Reaper himself?

"Really looks bad, she's back on for at least the next 2 episodes..... who knows how much longer. Wondering of Hotch will go "rogue" and find The Reaper himself?"I originally wondered if Strauss was going to show up because of the stuff they said in 'Reckoner' about the funding for Hotch's protection running out, but I don't see why she'd be needed in 2 episodes if that's the case. Maybe Hotch is going rogue... (Though, I really hope that wouldn't mean her putting herself in charge of the team again...) Do you find this valuable? |

Trying not to laugh at the image of her when she went to the crime scene and couldn't stomach it! And they'd put her in charge again?

Love the promo for this episode, especially when the "You'd better deliver" bullet shows up. Ahhh creepy!

I'm curious about this episode, Strauss being back, and the UnSub plotline (which seems like it would be more "WTF creepy" than "OMG creepy," and I prefer the latter on CriMi.)

Strauss is back?! Jackrabbits on a hotplate! (I don't particularly care for her or her battleax attitude.) She, to me, comes across as being far too high and mighty. Hopefully there'll be another dead body or two at the scene to knock her off of her white horse again. Maybe she'll step back abit and let the team do their job *without* her breathing down their necks all the time. The epi looks rather interesting though, perfect for a close to Hallowe'en episode with it being barely a week away. Do you find this valuable? |

Yeah so far she's back for the next 2 episodes. I am hoping it doesn't mean that Hotch is being "overseen" or taken off field duty. God knows what happened last time Strauss went out in the field... she couldn't handle it! I'm hoping she's only back until the reaper case is taken care of, which will be mid-November!

I love how Strauss tries to break down the team, but they always stay together.I would like to mention that I think JJ shall play a rather important role in this episode. Since I noticed in both promos each time they mention the UNSUB takes his victims by age and hair colour, my friend and I assumed she is going to play as bait. Like Elle did in season 2 if anyone remembered, but she messed up. So, I'm looking forward to this episode, I hope it'll turn out fantastic. I'll keep posting my thoughts during the show(during commercial breaks) Do you find this valuable? |

At first I was in a panic, thinking Hotch was leaving for good. Thank God he isn't. But this is certainly a change in the story line. Also, there weren't any previews shown for next weeks show. I see a lot of shows are having repeats already so if they are on next week I bet they will have a repeat too.

"I AM SO SPEECHLESSI KNOW!!! I was so shocked. I thought maybe that was happening earlier on and then thought they wouldn't do that. And they did! This is crazy intense and it's going to be weird for a while. I'm curious to see how the rest of the team takes the news. Do you find this valuable? |

I agreeI sat in stunned, shocked silence when Hotch told Morgan that he was becoming the unit chief I love Morgan, but he's nothing compared to Hotch He's not the leader type. He's the muscle type. You know? He's the one who busts down doors. Idk, maybe this will give his character some more depth We'll see how it turns out O_o Do you find this valuable? |

That is one thing I'm looking forward to. Morgan has always come across as a lesser MC to me- I still love him, but he's more stock, background to me than some of the others. JJ is the same way-and maybe this will give his character a chance to be more in the spotlight. I'm also super excited to see how the team takes it. Also, I'm wondering whether it will actually be temporary or not. It could go either way, as I see it.

ok, I finished watching an hour ago and I'm still stunned. I didn't see this one coming. I'm really starting to fear that they (as in the writers) are going to get rid of hotch. Morgans much to impulsive to lead this team. I fear that this promotion of Morgan is not just temporary and that in the final reaper epi hotch will kind of loose it and therefore leave for good. Wow, what an episode, I was really moved, when I watched it. I had nightmares about it, really creepy!I really like Morgan, but I wouldn`t have chosen him as the team leader. Rossi would be much better, although he is still no Hotch. Well, to be exact, Hotch himself wasn`t Hotch lately. He did not lead the team, in fact, he hardly participated. Emily would be a great team leader, she is calm, diplomatic, she is a female Hotch. Do you find this valuable? |

"Wow, what an episode, I was really moved, when I watched it. I had nightmares about it, really creepy!Totally what you said! I didn't see that coming at all and I think Morgan is too emotional to be a good team leader. He might care and look more at the other team mates issues, but I think that Hotch was the best for being cool and analytical in a crisis. Emily would be good, but I think she's too "green" for that yet. Rossi is still getting used to the team dynamic so, well, we need the old Hotch back, maybe this is a way for him to sorta flesh out his character and get that all out of his system? Who knows. Personally, I'd much rather have either Morgan, Emily or Rossi led the team, for Frith's sake, as opposed to having her do it, as they already know their fellow teammates alot better than Battleaxe Strauss does. I'd really much rather have her stay as far away from them as physically possible. Imho, I'd like to have Strauss get stabbed like Hotch did by someone like Foyet and see just how well *she* handles it. I wonder if this *does* mean that Hotch'll be leaving then eventhough he said that he wasn't. :( I really didn't like the ending of Cradle to Grave at all, although it was one of the more nicer ones.
