He is a wonderful actor and really make Hotch come to life. I just could not see anybody else in that role.

#1hotchfan - The Tribe is one of my favorites. In addition to the Captain America line from Blackwolf, I also loved it when Hotch said to Reid, "Reid, is your name Samuel?" and to Blackwolf, "You sound like a fortune cookie." Very graphic in spots, but it was also very funny.

I love those occasions when he allows Aaron's sense of humour to show eg 'physics magic'. Maybe now he hasn't got Haley bringing him down, we will see more of that. He's got a beautiful smile.

Hotch really does have a pretty sharp sense of humor. Sometimes he jokes for fun (physics magic, asking Elle if she was seeing anyone when she complained that all they talked about was work). And, sometimes the humor is more to smack someone down ("oh, that's right, you think they all got houses and jobs" from Legacy). But, I think he's going to have to get over losing Haley before he shows that amount of humor. Because he really does love her.

When he'scoaching Spence at the firing range, he says to him, "Did Elle teach you that!" totally dead pan. It's a throw away line that you could easily miss. I love it. If we have a husband with an important job, we have to share him. It's a fact of life. - doctors, lawyers, etc. If they want the life style, they have to pay for it with their husbands time. I could never leave Aaron, specially after so many years. He's a wonderful man. Do you find this valuable? |

Oh he absolutely has a sense of humor and a killer smile! He just has to be the leader as well so he leads by example! Even when he talked about a penny he was looking for and that he was a nerd..... he has some great one liners and he can take them too. Like when Reid told him he kicked like a girl! LOL

Yeah, I have never understood why some people didn't think he has a sense of humor. He has it all. This show does not lend itself to constant one liners. I think the writers do a wonderful job bring it in when they can. I loved the line at to Reid at the shooting range also.

I love the sense of humor on this show. I think it's a major element that sets CM apart from all the other crime dramas. Where is it written that action focused films and shows have to have such cheesy lines? ::ahem, CSI::

yeah its one of the reasons of it being so different.....the other being it doesn't do forensic crap.... i am so sick of all crime dramas going after fingerprints, sweat and god knows wht

Don't mention CSI Miami on this site (Oops - I mentioned it!) The forensic crap was ok at first cos it was doferent, but now it's boring. CM has a tention that those shows don't have, cos usually it's a race to save a life. Did I read somewhwere that a 4th season is on the cards? Does anyone know who has signed for it? Dunno if I cd watch it if TG or MGG weren't in it. Any news? ps. - the bit about shirts off boys and hotch/reid pairing was a joke actually!!! but if they wanna take off their shirts, who am i to argue? Do you find this valuable? |

I stopped watching CSI - South Florida a while ago- I couldn't stand the soap opera it had become - plus the constant posing of the characters and the slow-motion shots of the women. They got away from the stories and I finally gave up. CM sticks to what works - let's hope they stay that way - I love this show. And Hotch is the best character I have seen in a long time. Do you find this valuable? |

To the best of our knowledge (Fans) all of the cast are returning for the 4th season. The actor who plays Kevin Lynch (Penelope) has also been put on recurring status so we will be seeing more of him as well! Do you find this valuable? |

Although I dislike Hailey, I can`t help notice a few things, that count for her.In one episode Hotch misses an apointment with Hailey to see the doctor for their son. She said to him, that he promised to be there for them. I think, the situation chaged for Hailey because of her son. Before she gave birth to him, it was only Hotch and her, but she has to care for a child and that is why she is afraid of loosing Hotch, either to his work or worse to death. As a prosecutor he wasn`t in the direct line of fire. And he even leaves on his birthday party. It`s not really a fundament for a marriage. And then there is the character of Hotch. He smiles very little, shares nothing of his feelings or his personal life with the team, so maybe he doesn`t share much with his wife. I would be annoyed. Do you find this valuable? |
