Does anyone know who this quote is from
scars don't have to tell us were we are going they only have to tell us where we have been. It was at the end of the show when during the discussion when you knew Hodge was coming back

I could've sworn Joe Montegna said "Lucille Maud Montgomery" instead of the correct "Lucy Maud Montgomery" at the end of tonight's episode. Did anyone else notice this?

One thing I love about the show are the quotes they have. My favorite characters to get the quotes are Reid, Hotch, and JJ, because I like the way they deliver the lines. My number one favorite quotes are the ones Reid quoted from TS Eliot in Sex, Birth, Death. After that, I love Reid quoting Rose Kennedy in The Fisher King II, and Hotch quoting Eleanor Roosevelt in Scared to Death (Actually I love that quote on its own, not just because Hotch said it).
Anyone else love the quotes or have any favorites that stand out? Or favorite characters getting to say them?

From Episode 1 of the Season 1, I've enjoyed watching Spencer Reid and all that he does. He is an amazing genius and he's also very shy as a human being. I would probably feel the same way if I was surrounded by girls (for me it would be charming guys) and I'd probably feel a little uncomfortable, too. I like Spencer Reid because he is not only cute and funny, but he is someone I'd definitely like to meet and have a great conversation with. A girl can dream can't she?

| MichaelJacksonFan22 | Revelations, Amplification: Why these episodes scare me? | 0 | Oct 20 2009, 6:21 PM EDT by MichaelJacksonFan22 | ||||

In the Revelations episode, I see Reid being held captured by a Sadist (the guy is also a raving psychotic) and being tortured to the point of death. This episode scared me half to death because Reid can't die. He's a big part of the team and where would they even be without him. None of them could get through a profile without the genius.
In the Amplification episode, the whole town is suffering and dying from a dangerous biofilter chemical and Reid gets caught in it as well. It made me cry to see Reid suffer in that room where the chemical is taking its time on him until the authorities can figure out how they can get him to the hospital safely and hopefully save him. This episode put me on the edge of my seat and it also made me cry really hard. I don't think anybody would watch the show if Spencer Reid was no longer around would they? I don't know if I could because Spencer Reid is my favorite character in the entire cast and I wouldn't want him to die.

Can the person who updates this tell me how exactly the quotes are read. For example: Hotchner- George Washington said, "quote" or Hotchner- "quote" -author's name

I hope they put two quotes per episode again soon. I like the idea of closure that it gives to the episode. I'm always waiting for the closing quote to know the episode is over. I know they haven't done it consistently, but for me the quotes are a big part of the fandom. Just in fanfiction, a lot of stories start and end with quotes the same way...

If Gideon is leaving the show then you will lose a viewer. Mandy is the only reason I am watching the show. Gideon makes the show, if he leaves then it won't interesting to watch. Tell Mandy we want him back on the show,

In this last episode, they made a boo-boo by ad-libbing Chesterson's quote about fairytales, " “Fairy Tales are more than true; not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.” , with a spin on it... I'm pretty disappointed... after all: a quote is just that... (I may have misheard, but I think that they attributed it to a "Robbins" as well...yikes!)
Did anyone else hear that too? m |

i have been a devoted criminal mind fan from it's beginning and i too will miss gideon, the show will not be the same without him and that is what makes a great actor who creates his character - great.....but gideon is a character potrayed by the writers and these writers have done a fantastic job in the challenges to keep criminal minds on the top of the charts. it is the team that makes criminal minds what it is also, not just one person...the show is a mix of real truths so the stories will continue to keep you on the edge. i have no fear that whoever takes the place of gideon will also be well worth watching.
