Memoriam

Synopsis:

Dr. Reid embarks on his own investigation into the murder of a young boy years earlier in Las Vegas that he strongly believes has a connection to his own childhood.

Best Moments Between Characters:

When Reid sent the team back to Virginia under the pretense of spending time with his mother. He returned to his hotel room to discover Rossi and Morgan watching "The Young and the Restless." They stayed behind to help him.

When JJ gave birth, Reid arrived and Will and the rest of the BAU left the room. JJ handed her newborn son, Henry, to Reid and asked him to be the godfather.

Best Lines:

[teasing Reid when he shows up late to see her at the Hospital]
JJ: "How is it that I just went through 15 hours of labor and you look worse than I do?"

Garcia: I'm not a doctor, and I don't even play one on TV, but I believe that young JJ here is going into labor.

The turning point in the investigation:

When Reid remembered playing chess with Michaels in the park, and his mother's comments about not liking Michaels around him.

Whodunit?

Gary Brendan Michaels killed Riley Jenkins. Reid's mother had seen him approach Reid and play a game of chess with him. She did not like the way he looked at Reid so she told Riley's father. She accompanied Riley's father to Michaels house where she was able to identify him. Riley's father entered Michaels home and beat him to death with a baseball bat. Reid's mother went inside and slipped in the blood, wiping it on her shirt. When she returned home, William Reid burned her clothing/evidence. Riley's father disposed of Michaels body and it was discovered 10 years later at a construction site.

Simply a wonderful episode!!! I really loved every scene of it! :D
I think Reid is growing very much as a character: he shows to be very strong in wanting to know the truth even if it could be so painful for him.
I agree that the case should have been treated as such and not only as Reid's personal business. I loved the way Rossi decided to help Reid: I remember him in Damaged when he absolutely wanted to be left alone dealing with his unfinished business. he's grown too: now he's really part of the team and understands the meaning of the word 'team' as a 'family'. and he and Morgan waiting for Reid watching tv was sooo funny (even my father laughed at that!)!

the scenes in the hospital were really sweet! ....but I wonder why JJ chose Garcia as Godmother... (I do say JJ because I think she did make the choice: Will doesn't know the team members so well yet) I mean, it seems to me that she and Emily are good friends, but probably JJ wanted someone (a bit weird and genial person??) she has maybe more confidence with... as for Reid, no doubt! he and JJ are very close after Revelations etc. and sometimes it seems to me they are more like sister and brother than friends...
Emily kidding Will at the hospital was sooo funny! another scene that made me really smile was that one when Jordan asks Emily if she has children and she speaks about good possible husbands/boyfriends and Hotch hears some words.... that was so funny as well! and also a bit embarrassing because that was a dialogue between women about men!! ;o)

personally, I liked Memoriam more that The Instincts.
it would have been a perfect episode if there had been more Hotch scenes.... eheheh I'm joking! ;op his weird look hearing Garcia and Morgan flirting via phone was just priceless! it made me really smile! ;)

Finally, airing of 4th season in France

Hi all,

That's awhile I haven's posted here but work doesn't let me time off... :-(
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that yesterday evening, TF1 (one of our 8 natioal broadcastings and above all, the one which airs Criminal Minds from the beginning) aired "Pleasure is My Business", 16th episode (which was re -named "La Tueuse de la Nuit" for French viewers).
And next Wednesday, we should watch the 2 first episodes of this season with just before, an episode of 3rd one.
I know, it's completly crazy:. For example, In the first episode aired yesterday, JJ learnt her pregnancy and in the second, she was among the members of her team like if nothing's happened! <griN> What a good programmation, isn't it?!
Next week, she will carry a big belly and in the following episode,we will will Jordan -> the only good point is this one : for all JJ's fans, they won't suffer of AJ Cook's absence as seeing as this character will be on screen until the middle of the airing of 4th season....until the very end of the airing of 3rd season and its cliffhanger where Hotch will be seriously hurt and just in the following episode coming from 4th season, everything will be ok.
At less, French viewers won't suffer like US ones during the summer break! :-D How lucky we are!!!! :-D
