Synopsis:
As a team member fights for life, the BAU continues the search for an attacker that leads them to believe the assailant could be someone close to the investigation.


Best Moments Between Characters:
  • While Garcia is laying in the hospital bed, she asks to speak to JJ privately. When JJ meets up with the others, she tells them that Garcia made her promise not to treat her like a victim.

  • Rossi knows that Garcia is hiding something, and so intensely interrogates her while the other agents stand by, feeling uncomfortable.

Best Lines:
  • Garcia (to Morgan): "If you're thinking of trying to take advantage of me, let me call my doctor so I can have him revive me afterwards."
    Morgan: "Hey, silly girl. I love you. You know that, right?"
    Garcia: "I love you too."
  • Garcia (to Morgan and Reid): "When I was in the ambulance I could hear the song 'Heroes' playing in my head. I kept flashing in and out of consciousness. Everything was really bright. And I remember thinking, wait--is David Bowie really God?"
  • Kevin Lynch (about Garcia): "This might be the coolest girl I've ever met."
    Rossi: "You've never laid eyes on her."
    Kevin Lynch: "Well, her GUI is mindblowing!"

  • Morgan: "Garcia, you listen to me. Take this gun--"

    Morgan: "Trust me--they are very real."

  • Garcia (while 'Heroes' plays): "You're good."

The Turning Point in the Investigation:
When Garcia admits to the team that she was flagging files of unsolved murder cases for the families she was counseling. They realize that her shooter thinks that she is on to him and is trying to kill her to silence her.


Whodunit?
Deputy Jason Clark Battle, a decorated officer who considers himself an "Angel of Death." Reid describes him as having a "Hero Homicide Complex." He shoots people with revolvers so that he can come to their aid immediately and be their savior. He wants to be known as a hero.

that Kevin says "Penelope" when he hears her name ....like he was in AWE of her. That whole episode was great, IMHO, but the way that those two looked at each other, and the whole 'cute nerdy awkardness'.....was so perfect! I loved it! I now love Garcia's character even more, and I don't care what anyone says...."Kevin"(Nicholas Brenden) is adorable!
