"My wife and have have truly enjoyed Criminal Minds since the show first aired...that is until now. The show has been suspenseful and "edgy" until "Children of the Dark". This particular episode went way over the top and off our TV by depicting the random murder of a family...including the children. Come on, do you really think that is necessary or even appropriate? "
It's possible that our comments won't be appreciated by other fansof the show, but I have to agree. I have been a fan since the beginning. I turned this off in the first ten minutes. I know I didn't get to see how it all played out, but I was so angered by the premise, that I couldn't stay. Irresponsible.

The technical specialist needs to be replaced. The scene with the phone conversation in the beginning was bogus. If the phone line had been cut, the person on the phone would NOT have heard the beeeep, beeeep, beeeep, etc. That is called "fast reorder" and is put on the line by the switching equipment in the phone company central office. If the line was cut, the phone would have just gone dead; no dial tone, no beeeep, beeeep, beeeep, just silence. If the "unsub" shorted the terminals at the entrance block outside the house, the same thing would have happened. If the "unsub" had cut the line, waited far a while and then reconnected the line, the person in the house would have heard dial tone before they heard the "fast reorder." If the jammer was designed to jam cell phones, there is very little chance that they could also jam a home wireless phone because of the wide range of frequencies involved. Cell phones operate in 2 bands, regular cell phones operate at frequencies of 800-900 MHz and Personal Communications Service (PCS) cell phones operate at frequencies of 1850-1990 MHz.. Some early wireless phones, years ago operated at 900Mhz but more modern ones operate far above that range and the jammer would have to be very wide band to affect them.

Song during the end of the show... The lyrics were something like "This is a place where I don't feel alone, This is a place where I feel I'm home" Does anyone know who sings it/what it's called?
