Hotchner and the team suspect that two unsubs may be working together in a series of brutal home invasions and murders taking place in a Denver suburb.

When the survivor, Carrie, was able to provide the team with information about the looks and personalities of the 2 unsubs and how they got in. They were able to narrow it down to someone who worked with pets; obtain pictures and names of 9 individuals and Carrie was able to ID one of them.

Gary and Erving, two troubled boys who had been abused in a foster home. Gary received the worst of the abuse. Initially the boys wentwere afterjust familiesrobbing whohomes werebut abusingwhen theirthey kidsfound butan abused kid they switched MO'sto andkilling targetedparents and all"relieving" familiesthe after.kids. Gary was responsible for the brutal killings of the parents and Erving,Erving injected the children with medication used to euthanize pets.
