I have been a Criminal Minds fan since day one. I initially started watching the show because, at the time, I was doing my undergraduate studies in Psychology. I eventually changed my major to English, graduated--with a minor in Psychology--and now I am working on my Master's in English.

The best thing about Criminal Minds has got to be the dialogue, especially the periphrastic ramblings of Dr. Reid. The characters and plotlines are, of course, outstanding, but it is the the pedantic banter and trivial anecdotes that keep me coming back each week. The writers on this show do an outstanding job of including all the psycho-jargon that would be appropriate for people in this field of work to use without having it become clinical and dull in the process. They always find a way to throw in a little pop-culture and the quotes they choose for the beginning and end of each episode beautifully wrap everything up into a one hour bundle of pure entertainment.

I am not a huge tv person and I rarely spend free time just surfing the internet, however, when I stumbled across this page in my attempt to find out why my DVR said "3rd Life" would be recording but "About Face" was airing, I couldn't resist joining in on the fun.

It is nice to find a place where others understand my obsession.
